GIFT CHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AND USE
By purchasing or using a Board Gift Chip, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. About Us
1.1 Board Gift Chips are sold and managed by Board Limited, 27 Fore Street, Teignmouth, Devon, United Kingdom, TQ14 8DZ.
1.2 Board Limited is registered in England and Wales under Company No. 10725823.
2. Sale of Gift Chips
2.1 Board Gift Chips may be purchased in pounds sterling (£).
2.2 The minimum value of a Gift Chip is £15, and the maximum value is £250.
2.3 Gift Chips may be purchased in store or online via our website.
2.4 Each transaction may be subject to fraud prevention checks, and Board Limited reserves the right to refuse the sale of a Gift Chip at its discretion.
3. Online Orders & Delivery
3.1 Gift Chips purchased online may be collected in store during our open days or posted to a UK address.
3.2 Where postage is selected, a delivery fee will apply.
3.3 Board Limited is not responsible for delivery delays once a Gift Chip has been dispatched. Proof of dispatch will be retained.
3.4 Delivery fees are non-refundable once a Gift Chip has been dispatched.
3.5 Customers are responsible for ensuring that all order details are correct at the time of purchase. If you have made a mistake with your order, please contact us as soon as possible and we will try to rectify it where possible.
4. Validity & Expiry
4.1 Gift Chips are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase.
4.2 If you have a Gift Chip that has expired, please contact us and we’ll see what we can do.
5. Use of Gift Chips
5.1 Gift Chips can be used in full or part payment for products or services purchased in store.
5.2 Gift Chips may be redeemed at Board in Exeter and any future Board locations.
5.3 When a Gift Chip is used, the value of the purchase will be deducted from the remaining balance.
5.4 Gift Chips can be topped up in store.
5.5 Gift Chips which are defaced, altered, or cancelled will not be accepted.
5.6 Gift Chips cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or returned, and no change will be given.
5.7 Any refunds for goods or services purchased using a Gift Chip will be made in accordance with Board’s refund policy and credited back to a Gift Chip rather than provided in cash.
5.8 Gift Chips should be treated like cash and will not be replaced if lost, stolen, or damaged.
6. Balances & Discontinuation
6.1 Gift Chip balances can be checked in store.
6.2 Board Limited reserves the right to expire any Gift Chip with a zero balance.
6.3 Board Limited may discontinue the use of Gift Chips at any time if it deems such action necessary.
7. General
7.1 Gift Chips are issued by and remain the property of Board Limited.
7.2 Board Limited shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use or inability to use a Gift Chip.
7.3 Board Limited may amend these terms and conditions from time to time.
7.4 Nothing in these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights.
8. Governing Law
8.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
